Lukas heads Sterling Light Productions along with his wife Katherine Boecher who seek out fiction and non-fiction projects that focus on stories of great compassion, forgiveness, sacrifice and love. This is Lukas’ first feature documentary. Lukas has produced a number of short films, recently receiving awards, but is more known for his work as an actor in television and film over the last 16 years. His passion and commitment to film and the greater good led him to MULLY.
David Elkins is an actor, musician, and voiceover artist, represented by Innovative Artists and WME. His favorite theatrical role to date was playing Johnny Cash in the Tony award winning Million Dollar Quartet. David earned his masters degree in intercultural studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and is the founder of Shared Learning, a non-profit dedicated to helping provide professional level tutoring to students in need.
(David can hopefully be seen opposite Ethan Hawke in the upcoming film Magnificent Seven, directed by Antoine Fuqua, as long as his scene isn't edited out:))
Amber Lia is a former Advanced Placement high school English Literature and Language teacher. She is currently an Amazon #1 Best-Selling author of Triggers: Exchanging Parents’ Angry Reactions for Gentle Biblical Responses and The Triggers Study Guide. She and her husband Guy own Storehouse Media Group, a faith-friendly and family-friendly TV and Film production company in Los Angeles, CA. Amber has co-created a wide variety of both scripted and non-scripted TV shows and has worked with writers on Feature Film Scripts. Amber currently has contracts with studios like Sony Pictures Television, Walden Media, and ITV America to develop several of her projects.
For the better part of the last 20 years, Guy Lia has worked in the Entertainment industry in creative development, production, and visual effects for both feature film and television. Guy proudly spent more than five of those years at Sony Pictures Television as a creative development executive working on such shows as Breaking Bad, Rules of Engagement, Damages, ‘Til Death, Joan Of Arcadia, Book Of Daniel and more. He also spent a number of years leading business development and account management for the domestic and international digital marketing of entertainment and consumer brands such as Warner Brothers, NBC/Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Blackberry/RIM and more. Guy’s experience and leadership working with and overseeing creative teams has given him a wide scope and unique understanding of entertainment and digital marketing. Currently, Guy is fulfilling a lifelong dream as the Founder and Executive Producer of Storehouse Media Group, a dynamic family and faith market-friendly entertainment production company with projects in development in feature film, scripted and unscripted television and documentaries. Guy is intent on using the powerful medium of entertainment to reach people with quality entertainment that uplifts and encourages them to live life with purpose and meaning. Guy currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with his beautiful wife of almost 10 years and is the proud father of 4 energetic and wonderful sons - he is excited to finally be building his own future Rugby Team-in-training!
Lauren Taylor has over 25 years of professional experience in the film and television industry. She began her career working as an assistant in the television literary department at United Talent Agency with literary agent, Robb Rothman. She has had the opportunity to be mentored by and work with some of the most prolific writers, directors and producers in the industry; from Stephen J. Cannell, John Goldwyn, Bud Grant, Marcy Gross & Ann Weston, Larry Gross, Joe Sargent, Janet Jones, David Hoberman, among many others. She has worked at Fries Entertainment, ITC, MGM, Disney, and ICM to name a few. She has had projects set up at Showtime, DreamWorks, Columbia Tri-Star, Lifetime and CBS. Some of the films and television MOW’s, and mini/series she has participated on include; Playing God, This World, Then the Fireworks, The Billionaire Boys Club, King David, Chinese Box, Gunshy, Deep Dark Secrets, Rear Window (remake for Christopher Reeves/ABC), True Crime, The Virginian, Crime and Punishment in Suburbia, Map of the World and most recently Vi, and The Pulpwood Queens of East Texas. Lauren has been a member of Film Independent, AFI, WIF. She was recently on the Event Committee for Big Sunday a non-profit organization. She currently serves on the Strategic Lead Team for Beacon Entertainment Ministries.
Michael Van Dyck
Michael has been a TV / Feature Literary agent since 1990. Michael has been responsible for packaging some of the most critically acclaimed and highest rated series on television that have branded broadcast and cable networks. These shows include Dexter (Showtime), Desperate Housewives (ABC), The Good Wife (CBS), 24 (Fox), Under the Dome (CBS), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), Black-ish (ABC), The Mysteries of Laura (NBC), and Signed, Sealed Delivered (Hallmark), as well as the Disney sensation High School Musical franchise. The 2015 development season includes: Unveiled (NBC/Lightworkers) which currently being redeveloped, Heaven Is For Real (NBC), MIRACLE MAN (NBC/Ghost House/Kevin Sorbo to star), CRY (Paulist Productions/THE CW), STAYING BROWN (Amazon), and DECOMP (TNT/Arnold Rifkin).Through the course of his career, Michael has packaged and sold numerous scripted and non-scripted series, movies for television, and features, and has staffed over 100 writers, producers, and directors on series.Michael’s passion is representing faith brands in scripted/non-scripted television, features, and in the publishing world. He is a member of Bel Air Presbyterian Church and is on the faculty of ACT ONE. Michael is involved with the outreach ministries KEY MEN and PREMISE. His abbreviated testimony, entitled FREE FALL, is in Jim and Karen Covell’s book THE DAY I MET GOD.
